What this website is
This website presents the services of ChiaroTax, a brand of 2G Consulting S.R.L.S. Tax services are rendered by a qualified Italian tax advisor (tributarista) pursuant to Italian Law no. 4/2013. Content on the site — including guides and the tax calculator — is general information based on rules in force at the time of writing, and is not tax, legal or financial advice for your specific situation.
Engagement
An engagement begins only when both parties sign a written engagement letter (mandato professionale) describing the services, the fees and the mutual obligations. Prices shown on this site are our standard fees and are confirmed in the engagement letter; fees for services not listed are quoted in writing before work begins. Fees for clients resident outside the EU are outside the scope of Italian VAT under Art. 7-septies of DPR 633/72; Italian VAT applies where the law requires it.
Your obligations
Our work relies on the completeness and accuracy of the information and documents you provide, delivered within the timeframes we indicate for statutory deadlines. Filing positions are prepared on the basis of that information; you remain responsible for its truthfulness.
Liability
We perform the services with the diligence required of the profession and carry professional indemnity insurance as required by Italian law. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the direct damages attributable to our proven fault, within the limits set out in the engagement letter.
Law and disputes
These terms and every engagement are governed by Italian law. For consumers resident in the EU, mandatory consumer protections of the country of residence remain unaffected; otherwise the courts of Verbania, Italy have jurisdiction.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may withdraw from the engagement within 14 days of signing the engagement letter, without giving any reason, by writing to hello@chiarotax.com.
If you ask us to start immediately. Because our work is often tied to a statutory deadline, you may expressly request that we begin before the 14 days have elapsed. In that case:
- if the engagement has been fully performed within the 14 days — that is, the filing has been submitted or the requested work delivered — the right of withdrawal is exhausted and the agreed fee remains due in full;
- if you withdraw while the work is still in progress, you owe the fee in proportion to the work already carried out, and we refund the remainder within 14 days.
If you do not ask us to start early, no work begins until the 14 days have passed and you may withdraw with a full refund.
